1 HOTEL SOUTH BEACH HOSTED A SERIES OF EXCLUSIVE EVENTS DURING MIAMI MUSIC WEEK/WINTER MUSIC CONFERENCE 2015
Events took place from March 25 to March 29 and included bespoke music lounges, EDM performances and recreational events featuring Miami’s elite and entertainment’s biggest names
Miami, Fla. (March 2015) – 1 Hotel & Homes South Beach, the highly anticipated beachfront hotel at 2341 Collins Ave., Miami Beach FL 33139, opened on Wed., March 25 with “100 at 1” event, a private rooftop event hosted by Barry Sternlicht, founder and CEO of Starwood Capital Group; Richard LeFrak, Chairman and CEO of LeFrak; and Robert Sillerman, founder of SFX Entertainment.
Attendees included top influencers within fashion, entertainment, media and government, including Tommy and Dee Hilfiger, Paris Hilton, DJ Bob Sinclair, DJ Paul Oakenfold, Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine,nightlife impresario brothers Daniel and Derek Koch; and restaurateur/chef and Bravo television personality Tom Colicchio, proprietor of Beachcraft, 1 Hotel & Homes South Beach’s signature restaurant.
Guests gathered in style on the hotel’s expansive rooftop just in time to catch the Miami sunset, while sipping Champagne and artisan Ciroc cocktails. The Miami elite, which partied into the night, included developer Jorge Perez; art collector Marvin Ross Friedman and Adrienne bon Haes;SEE Eyewear magnates Richard and Shelley Golden; developer Jackie Soffer; couturier Oscar Carvallo; architect Kobi Karp; artist Steven Hannock; TV personality Candela Ferro and actor Khotan Fernandez; restaurateur Joey Goldman; designer Sam Robin; British socialite Poppy Archer; socialites Barbara Becker, Suzy Buckley-Woodward, Hello Campos and Marita Stravrou; model Berthil Espegren; power couples Walid and Susie Wahab, Hal Lucas and Marisa Toccin Lucas, and Michael Comras and Daniela Swaebe; and Real Housewives of Miami starlets Lisa Hochstein and Adriana De Moura with prominent husbands Dr. Lenny Hochstein and Frederic Marq, respectively.
The NoiseHouse Lounge (www.noisehouse.com) presented by DeLeon Tequila and Ciroc took place from March 26 to 28 from noon to 7 p.m. at 1 Hotel South Beach’s Cabana Pool. The NoiseHouse and Listen-Up, known for hosting A-list DJs such as Tiesto, David Guetta and Kaskade, played live podcasts that were recorded daily featuring top talent and conducted press and media interviews with their talent. Invited guests lounged by the pool featuring 2,000-square-foot luxury cabanas. Wellness stations were available to guests.
Legendary Mixmag (mixmag.net) hosted its “Lab on Location” with special artists spinning beats live-streamed on MixmagTV. The event took place from 2 to 8 p.m. on March 26 at 1 Hotel South Beach. This event was by invitation only.
1 Hotel was also the home of the The Beatport Lounge from 12 to 6p.m. from March 26 to 28 at 1 Hotel South Beach’s Roof Top. Beatport is known for hosting multiple A-list DJ’s and brands like Steve Angello, Nervo, Virgin Records, and Deleon Tequila, to name a few. SFX Entertainment and their partners ID&T, Life in Color, Disco Donnie, Tomorrowland, Tomorrow world and Sensation hosted clients and special guests. They also hosted multiple events throughout the week.
Concept Id Group alongside The B Cool Group hosted the 1 Fashion-DJ Beach Volleyball Showdown Tournament, a charity event benefiting The Alfons Animal Foundation (www.alfonsfoundation.com), with teams composed of DJs and models, music influencers, celebrities and magazines. The events were generously supported by Wilhelmina and Next Models and notable attendees included DJs Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano and male supermodel River Viiperi. The event took place on March 27 from 2 to 7 p.m. at 1 Hotel South Beach’s beach. Guests enjoyed massages, wellness stations and fresh organic juices. The Koch Brothers of DMK Entertainment, presented by DeLeon Tequila and Ciroc, hosted exclusive clientele for The Noisehouse/Want Tickets Media Lounge Brunch Event at 1 Hotel South Beach’s Cabana Pool on March 28 from 2 to 6 p.m. with a full bar and brunch available to guests.
Attendees enjoyed the gorgeous tree line view of the white sandy beaches while sipping on DeLeon Tequila. Notables in attendance included actor/rapper Simon Rex (Scary Movies 3, 4 and 5) and actress Jaime Murray (Dexter, Spartacus, CW’s Ringer).
The Phhhoto instant moving pictures app will provide instant moving picture support though the Capture Anything in Motion Lounge at all events in combination with the Phhhoto app (www.phhhoto.com).
Size Records hosted a private brunch, which took place on Sunday, March 29, at 1 Hotel South Beach (www.size.net).
