(August 17, 2017 – Montego Bay, Jamaica) TV Personality and celebrated cannabis advocate Montel Williams will deliver the keynote at the 2017 CanEx Business Conference & Expo which will take place September 1-2, 2017 at the Montego Bay Convention Center, Montego Bay. Williams will be joined by a high powered line up of speakers for the second annual conference which include experts across a range of industry subject matter.
There are over 20 speakers confirmed including four time NBA Champion and cannabis advocate John Salleya and high powered cannabis attorney, Hilary Bricken of BrickenHarris and the Canna Law Group. They are joined by Michael Minardi, Chairman of Regulate Florida, Dr. Uma Dhanabalan of Harvard and a certified cannabis practitioner, Balram Vaswani of Ganja Inc, Orville Silvera of the Ganja Growers Association, Larissa Bolivar, head of Grow Green Cannabis in Colorado and Delano Seiveright Special Advisor to Ministry of Tourism and Director of Cannabis Licensing Authority.
Williams who has multiple sclerosis has been a public and outspoken advocate for the use of cannabis in treating the auto-immune disease for over 20 years. He is one of the pioneers who used his influence and celebrity to drive awareness and educate the public about the healing and medicinal properties of cannabis. Williams recently launched a line of a line of high-quality, user-friendly marijuana products via his Lenitiv Labs company.
The event will return to the Montego Bay Convention Center and host a mix of high level discourse and practical opportunity led by global experts with real-life application in the industry.
