Ford recalls 2013 Escape SUVs due to fuel leak risk, stop sale issued

Ford Motor Company has issued an immediate safety recall of 2013 Escape sport-utility vehicles. Approximately 11,500 Ford Escape SUVs equipped with the base 1.6-liter engine may leak gasoline from the engine’s fuel line and possibly catch fire. Dealerships have been told to stop giving test drives and to hold off on selling affected models.
