(Belmont, Trinidad, W.I) – Monday, August 24, 2014 – Trinidad Theatre Workshop (TTW) will hold another of our well-loved intimate Dinner Theatre events on September 6th. A delicious dinner and drinks at our own home theatre in Belmont will be followed by a joint concert by two of Trinidad and Tobagos best Underground Artists: Nickolai Salcedo and Marge Blackman. This will be the first appearance of Salcedo on stage since the multi-talented artist returned from three months of filming in England and Ghana for his role as Ulric Cross in the upcoming documentary HERO. Nickolai is best known as the lead singer and composer of the band Gyazette, who brought the house down last year with the release of their first album: Bread. Nickolai is now branching out as a solo artist with his unique fusion of Calypso, folk, rock, and electronica. Known for both his lyrics and melodies, Nickolai is one of Trinidad’s most diverse voices. Marge Blackman, daughter of Ras Shorty I, father of Soca, sings a mixture of Jamoo and folk music. She has toured across three continents as a member of her families band Love Circle. Making waves over the last few years as a solo artist she is currently working towards releasing her first solo Album.
Dinner Theatre at TTW is a unique experience. Tucked away in a classic gingerbread house, our theatre seats just sixty people, giving every audience member a unique and personal experience. There are just thirty dinner spots, and each party can reserve their own personal table.
All inclusive tickets are just $200. Come enjoy an evening of good food, good drink, and great music.
