Red carpets are set to be graced by fashion deities this month as the French Riviera plays host to the inaugural Cannes Fashion Festival. Self-taught prodigy Michael Costello, luxury fashion house Mikael D, family fashion house MTCostello and audacious design duo Falguni and Shane Peacock are the latest high profile names to join what’s set to emerge as the next big thing in global fashion events. Fashionistas will also experience live music on the catwalk from Latin pop sensation and multi-platinum recording artist Lucenzo.
Hailing from the City of Angels, Michael Costello is celebrated as one of America’s most coveted stylists to the stars. He’s been designing couture since the age of 14 and has now built up a global fashion empire, fuelled by a fierce spell on wildly popular US reality show, Project Runway. Looks are inspired by an elegant yet sexy aesthetic which has stolen the hearts of Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Arianna Grande, Lady Gaga, Salma Hayek, Paris Hilton and many more. Every piece is crafted with the intention of making women feel beautiful, and bringing a sleek, sexy and modern silhouette back to the forefront of the fashion world.
Costello will also be showcasing his second brand, MTCostello, with pieces designed by Michael and Stephanie Costello. Design duo Falguni and Shane Peacock will be ruffling feathers on the red carpet, showcasing its latest line of luxury pieces. Daring, glamorous and utterly impractical, the label has crystallised its reputation as one of the hottest names in contemporary haute couture.
