SEAH WATCHES CONTINUES TO INNOVATE
Astrology-inspired brand unveils model with Greek Zodiac signs
Miami, FL (Fall 2013) – SEAH®, the astrology-based luxury timepiece and jewelry line, is announcing the launch of four, first-of-its-kind watches that will be introduced this Fall 2013. As an extension of their widely successful Sun Collection, the new models include two men and two women timepieces.
Drawing inspiration from the most pivotal star in the sky, (the sun), the fully patented collection is the only one in the world that replaces the standard dial with the Greek zodiac signs. Swiss made with leading quartz movement, the limited edition series offers 50 watches in each of the four models. They can be further personalized with a rotating bezel allowing the wearer to position the marker at their zodiac sign.
The Celestial, the women’s model with a 42mm case, is hand-crafted in stainless steel with 18 karat gold plating and features a mother-of-pearl dial. Greek zodiac signs mark each number position while a sun in a golden lace design blazes at the dial center. An Austrian Hirsch alligator chocolate strap is the perfect balance to the triple-diamond dial markers on the bezel, a staple of the SEAH® Sun Collection.
Keeping the same distinct dial face, an alternate version of The Celestial will be available with chocolate diamonds and champagne hued leather strap.
The Astronomer, the men’s 46mm case, 10 ATM water resistance watches, are designed with a masculine stainless steel polished bezel and sandblasted textured detail at each hour marker. The stainless steel Greek zodiac dial compliments the black lacquer watch face. At the twelve o’clock marker stands a satin metal star identical to the scarlet red dial hand. A black Austrian Hirsch leather and red stitched band complements the design.
The alternate version of The Astronomer features a custom-designed stainless steel bracelet with a combination of polish satin and sandblasted links.
SEAH® creator Rachel Levy states: “The sun is the main ‘star’ in our solar system and in astrology. The universe and astrology cannot exist without this main star which has become the SEAH® watch genetic stamp. Life is short and we wanted to honor the gift of time with this collection.” Levy founded SEAH® in 2003 when she began researching astrology, astronomy and the tie between these two “sciences” in ancient times. Levy has interpreted SEAH® – an ancient word for “time” – into pieces of high quality art, jewelry and an iconic timepiece line that focuses on the soul.
SEAH® is the only collection in the world that truly allows one to carry their own spirituality with them at all times. Prices in the SEAH collection range from $950 to $2,500. The Fall 2013 collection will be available at www.seahwatches.com and retailers worldwide.
