Stylist. Creative Director. Visionary. Freddie Leiba has been a constant force within the fashion industry for the past fifty years, and has been behind some of the most memorable images ever photographed.

His resume includes work at Interview Magazine alongside Andy Warhol, French Vogue, and InStyle magazines. He is the former fashion director of Allure and US Harper’s Bazaar, and currently designs the uniforms for the Editions Hotels around the globe. He has dressed Janet Jackson, Meryl Streep, Viola Davis, Tracee Ellis Ross, Alec Baldwin, Mick Jagger, Aretha Franklin, and Denzel Washington amongst a host of others.

His iconic imagery includes Madonna in Gaultier’s bustier, Elizabeth Hurley in Versace’s safety pin dress, and Beyonce’s first editorial as a solo artist.

As a philanthropist, Freddie created the Red Ribbon Aids plate and cup, with all proceeds going toward DIFFA, and contributed to the book Diverse Beauty which benefited the humanitarian organization Concerned World. Freddie currently spends his time committed to smaller passion projects, and enjoys speaking to students about his career and empowering them to achieve their full potential.
